The vehicles used in servicing Wright's operations require high levels of maintenance because of their frequent stop-start applications.

Each truck is greased and given a full inspection weekly to ensure that all vehicles are performing to their highest capacity with optimum safety.

"We bought our set of Portalift Hoists in October 1992 and have not looked back since.

With one set of hoists and two sets of jacking stands, we have the output capacity equivalent to that of three pits except the productivity levels are higher.

Our workshop is tight for space and with the hoists we can service vehicles anywhere in the workshop and then store them away when they are not being used. In the past it's been very difficult to service our street sweepers because of all the brooms and attachments, but with the hoists we have no problems to access any part of the vehicle's undercarriage.

Every type of servicing and maintenance procedure is far easier and cleaner with the hoists.

In fact, one of our employees said that if we ever got rid of the hoists, he'd go with them!"
